Privacy First
Your time tracking data
belongs to you. Full stop.
Most free apps are free because you're the product. Keeping Time is different. Here's exactly what we do — and don't do — with your data.
Create your free accountOur privacy principles
We never sell your data
Your hours, your projects, your clients — none of it is sold to third parties. Not now, not ever.
We never run ads
No advertisers. No ad targeting. No behavioural profiling. Your data doesn't fund our business.
We store data in Europe
Our servers are located in the EU. Your data doesn't cross the Atlantic.
We are GDPR compliant
Keeping Time is built to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Suitable for individual users and organisations across Europe.
You can export everything
Your data is yours. Export it at any time in standard formats. If you decide to leave, you leave with everything.
You can delete everything
Request full deletion of your account and data at any time. No retention, no backups kept against your wishes.
How we make money
We offer a free plan during beta. In future, we will offer a paid plan with additional features. Our business model is simple: we charge for the product. Not for your data.
This matters because it aligns our incentives with yours. We succeed when you find the product valuable — not when we squeeze more data out of your account.
Compared to the alternatives
Many popular time tracking apps — including some of the biggest names in the space — store data on US servers, share usage data with analytics providers, and reserve the right to use your data for product improvement and advertising purposes.
We don't think that's acceptable for something as sensitive as your work data.
Time tracking you can actually trust.
Free during beta. No credit card. No data harvesting.
